I have had the pleasure of being a public school educator for over 23 years. The past 18 of those years I have worked with 6th – 8th graders. I explain to them coming in, art isn’t for everyone. If you try though, you will succeed. Most important have fun while exploring this journey.

Featured here, are gem stones, that my 8th grade students worked on. I am over the moon proud of them. They used Prismacolor colored pencils for the gems. Around the gems they incorporated Zentangle®️ patterns. Fabulous job!
