I’ve loved sunflowers since high school. My very first oil painting was of sunflowers in my high school art class. I love thinking about the good memories from those times.

Today I completed a piece inspired by Meenakshi Muthuraman. You can view her lesson on Skill Share. At the moment I have used hatching and stippling in Micron 01 and PN.

I illustrated this on watercolor paper to have the option to add color. What do you think? Leave my piece in black and white or add color?
