Many of you know, that outside of Zentangle, collaging is my next favorite for of creating. I was really excited when the opportunity came up to take Deanna Gibson’s class “Triptych Australias.” One of the new classes from CZTAE 2023. I love creating paper and collaging. The best is to hear how another artist approaches it and learning new ideas from them.

I started with watercolor paper and magicals to create these beautiful papers.

Deanna had us work on a practice tile to learn some of the patterns that she was using.

I am really pleased with the end result. We used 3 grey Phi tiles. A combination of white gel pen along with microns for the tangling. I love the layering effect of this landscape we created.
