This past weekend, I had the opportunity to tangle with Molly and Martha at Kripalu in MA. The theme was “Adding love to your tangled art and your Zentangle®️ practice”
In this tile we used the technique “Pushback.”
It was a wonderful theme focusing on different techniques that can enhance your tiles.

The theme extended beyond that. How to look at the world through “Rose Colored Glasses.” Find the love and positives in things.
I always love attending classes with Molly and Martha. They create a fun and safe environment for beginners to advanced tanglers. I highly recommend attending a weekend even if it’s your first time. Remember we all were beginners at one point! If I have extra time I enjoy having an extra tile going, playing with concepts that we have learned. Like the one to the right here.

In addition to working on tiles we tangled on wood too! Adding a coat of ModPodge over our work. I used some of my own step outs, I deconstructed, to tangle on this pencil box.

And how adorable is this wood heart?!

Another 3 tiles taught my Molly and Martha. Zendala, a pre-strung tile, and the technique “Tucker.”

Here is a before and after. We used the technique “tranZending” over our tangling. Scary but fun technique!!!! Amazing how much it adds!

A 3Z tile I worked on on my own.

One of my favorite parts of tangling, in a group, are the Mosaics! The joy of seeing everyone’s work together. Love how our pre-strung tiles created hearts in the mosaic! So much thought and care put into everything. If you have the opportunity to tangle with Molly and Martha go for it! You will have the best time!
