Yesterday was such a special milestone: we celebrated five years of Tangle Time Tuesdays! In preparation, I reached out to as many past students as possible, sending nearly 200 emails. I was so excited to see both familiar faces and those I haven’t seen in a while. I felt truly grateful for the hour we spent together, simply relaxing and tangling.

When I first started teaching Zoom classes, I didn’t know what to expect, and it’s hard to believe five years have already passed. In the beginning, the classes were small, but that didn’t matter. I was just happy to be among like-minded people in a safe, creative environment where we could leave the world’s worries behind and connect through art.

Since then, our community has grown significantly, with many joining live and others following along with the recordings. I have developed wonderful friendships with tanglers all over the world—I’ve even been lucky enough to meet some of them in person!

I’m not sure what the future holds, but I am certainly enjoying the present. I look forward to Tuesday evenings so much. It isn’t just about the drawing; it’s about the peace, sharing, and encouragement everyone brings. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart!
