The most important aspect of creating is to enjoy and to create for yourself. There are no rules in art. Have fun. Experiment. If it brings a smile to your face you are doing it correctly!

I had the most wonderful honeymoon through France. I took this photo in the lovely village of Cassis. I knew when I returned home I wanted to turn it into a piece of art for our home. Some might have approached it with a realistic interpretation through paint. Some may have used pastel. All great choices for the individual artist. For me, I chose collage. And boy did I had fun!!!!!! I used cardboard, wallpaper, fabric and paper. Voila!
