This June, I will be in my house for 9 years. I decided it’s time to spruce up our tiny outdoor space. The theme I choose is bright boho colors. Using Acrylic paint on canvas I decided to create some art for the space. I have two walls to decorate, that have an overhang.
No secret that I love birds so I thought some bright birds would be suiting for the environment I want to create.
How could I not include my favorite bird in my space?! Monet!

Speaking of Monet, my little apprentice spent a lot of time keeping me company as I worked. Don’t worry, she was safe from all my supplies. She loves looking out the window at the outdoor birds.
I like to have all my paintings being worked on at the same time. It allows for drying time between layers.
When I think of “Boho” I think of bright flowers. The painting at the top is my flower creation.

I’m excited about the new plant stand I purchased. I wanted to buy bright flowerpots for it, but found the prices to be VERY expensive! For about $1 a pot, I painted them myself. Pulling in the bright colors, flowers, and leaves from the paintings.
I’m really looking forward to seeing how this project is all going to come together!
